On 6th December 2017, Belinda and Heidi performed songs from their “WinterFolk” album live in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Show studio. You can hear extracts from the album here:

The simplicity of their set-up – one keyboard, two beautiful voices – lies at the heart of this very special combination. To date, they have been nominated FOUR times for the BBC Radio 2 Folk “Best Duo” Award, and although they were once again disappointed not to win it this year, their disappointment will not deter them from maintaining consistently high standards of song writing and live performance. Come and listen to them at Grayshott before they embark on an extensive tour of UK Folk festivals over the Summer.

Listen to them here:

Belinda and Heidi’s boundless song writing has been described by The Guardian as ‘exceptional’ and The Independent as ‘defiant, robust, northern, poetical, political folk music for the times we live in.’ From an emotionally charged song about an elephant orphanage in Nairobi, to a joyous celebration of the Leeds cycling champion Beryl Burton, they explore, consider and connect subjects and stories in a distinctive, inventive and memorable way.
