Godalming Museum has launched an online shop with all profits going to support the Museum during this difficult time.
Visitors to the shop will find Godalming themed gifts including Pepperpot mugs and, exclusive to Godalming Museum, the Gertrude Jekyll range of porcelain. There are local history books about Farncombe, Godalming and Jack Phillips, the Wireless Operator on RMS Titanic and much more on offer.
Curator of the Museum, Alison Pattison, said “We are so pleased to be able to open our online shop and hopefully solve some Christmas present dilemmas as well as raise funds for the Museum. The items we are selling in the shop have all been specially commissioned for the Museum by our wonderful team of shop volunteers – this isn’t how they imagined selling them, but it has been a very peculiar year!”
The Museum will also have a Christmas stall under The Pepperpot on Thursday 17th December from 11am to 2pm.

Whilst online, shoppers are invited to take the opportunity to browse the Museum website. Volunteers and staff have been very busy adding local history content. By clicking on “Historic Godalming” visitors will see photographs of the High Street, Bridge Street and Church Street from yesteryear, plus find out about Godalming’s timber framed buildings and coaching inns.
