Wey Ceramics, Playing with Fire at Haslemere Museum this month

Wey Ceramics Society are holding their group exhibition in the Haslemere Room in the centre of Haslemere Museum until 30th October.  The membership of over 60 artists regularly exhibits in the local area and the Museum is happy to welcome them.

Members of the Society will be exhibiting a huge array of new ceramics.  There will be sculptural, decorative and domestic pieces in porcelain, stoneware and earthenware. Finished in stunning glazes, subtle pit fired colours or fascinating raku fired textures there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

All pieces will be for sale and there will be someone on hand during the exhibition to speak with about membership of the Society.  The benefits of membership include friendship, exchange of views and practice, access to demonstrations by other potters and sculptors, a bi-monthly newsletter and the chance to take part in exhibitions such as this one.
