In 2019 there were 462 pedestrians and 98 cyclists killed in road accidents.
I’m Somebody’s today announced a new range of t-shirts and hoodies. The clothing range is blazoned with a personalised message asking drivers to slow down. Juliet was inspired to create the brand, to highlight the person behind the body and bring to mind the consequences of dangerous driving alongside pavement users and cyclists.
Juliet is a recreational runner aware of how fast the cars drive past her. After hearing three separate stories of local people being killed by drivers travelling dangerously, she vowed to do something about it but had no idea how.
“As someone who is planet conscious, I did not want to use any manufacturer. Thank goodness I found teemill who have been able to make this dream a reality. The products are made from organic cotton and printed in the UK in a renewable energy powered factory.”
If you are a pavement user or cyclist and feel the frustration with speeding cars, please join I’m Somebody’s in a mission to make drivers more aware of us.
The range featuring t-shirts and jumpers for adults and children is available now, starting at £14. For more information visit https://imsomebodys.com/. Fifty pence from each purchase will be given to Road Peace, the National Charity for Road Crash Victims.
