The 18th GUTS Motor Tour will be taking place on Sunday 12th September
We will be finishing this year at Bignor Roman Villa, which is splendidly situated beneath the South Downs close to Pulborough, West Sussex. This is the site of the stunning remains of a Roman home with world-class mosaic floors in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
Our starting point will be Squires Garden Centre in Milford, near Godalming, Surrey GU8 5HL. As usual, they will provide us with breakfast before we set off on a 50-60 mile tour of West Surrey and West Sussex. Arrival as usual after 8.30am with cars setting off from about 9.15am
For our coffee break, we will be returning once more to Cowdray, who have kindly invited us along to their lovely cafe and farm shop near the ruins of Cowdray House, where you can get refreshments and take a small break.
The cost this year will be £90 for a car and one passenger. Extra passengers are £15 per person. This includes breakfast, a souvenir rally plate, rally pack and entry to Bignor Roman Villa. At Bignor, picnics are welcomed and they have picnic tables that can be used subject to availability. There is also a small tearoom on site. Dogs on leads are welcome but not within the villa and its immediate environs.
In addition, for just an extra £5 per person, Bignor have offered entrants a 30 minute talk about the site and its history PLUS a cream tea! Please indicate on the booking form if you would like to take advantage of this and add the additional cost to your cheque or BACS transfer.

As a charity our aim is to improve bowel cancer survival rates. Working towards this goal, we raise money to to support various projects:We fund the Family Colorectal Cancer Clinic (FCCC). The clinic is based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford and offers advice and screening to people at a high risk of developing bowel cancer. We fund equipment and facilities to help improve the care and treatment of bowel cancer patients at the RSCH.We provide grants for research into new ways of detecting bowel cancer and better ways of treating the disease
GUTS works to raise awareness of bowel cancer and the steps people can take to reduce their own risk of developing the disease
We provide a unique service for the community but we need your help to both maintain this service and to spread awareness of this common cancer. As a registered charity, we rely solely on donations from you, our supporters, to continue our fight against bowel cancer.
