Surrey is the most wooded county in Surrey and to celebrate the magnificent woodland heritage, Surrey Hills is staging its 10th Wood Fair on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October. The event is being held at Fish Pond Copse, near Cranleigh GU6 7DW in the beautiful setting of woodlands and meadows within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
It is an active and fun day out for all ages and provides a fantastic way to explore the local area with friends and family, learn more about woodlands and our local heritage – as well as enjoy the best of what Surrey has to offer.
It provides an exciting day with lots to see and do including woodland walks, demonstrations, beautiful crafted woodland products and delicious local food and drink.
Have a go at making woodland crafts, see a flying Hawk display, watch action packed woodland demonstrations or visit the open fire cookery school. Children can enjoy zip wires, tree climbing, horse & cart rides, crafts, archery and woodland games.
