Seasonal socials at the Wild Carrot

Spring has sprung in Hampshire and as everyone looks ahead to an exciting new season, the team at is delighted to announce the return of its famous Wild Carrot Seasonal Socials.
Presenting a dining event with a difference, the Wild Carrot team of food and drink experts takes guests on a culinary journey while they sit and enjoy the best of local ingredients and enjoy a new culinary experience with like-minded foodies. Kicking off on March 22, 2019, the first event of 2019 will see the launch of the Hotel’s very own Wild Carrot Gin. Hosted by new Executive Chef  Paolo Belloni and Hampshire local James Edwards from the Wild Carrot Bar, the dinner will feature four courses, each complimenting the new Wild Carrot Gin, mixed with tonics handcrafted by James exclusively for Wild Carrot.

The exclusive event will take place in the heart of the, nestled within 500 acres (200 hectares) of stunning countryside, overlooking the hills of Hampshire. Serving contemporary British dishes, made only with the finest seasonal produce found in Hampshire markets and further afield, Wild Carrot serves contemporary British cooking with the benefits of traditional Italian mastery.

Under the guidance of Paolo Belloni, the delicious new menu features some of the staples of British cuisine, prepared using traditional Italian techniques. Paolo’s love for the cuisine of la campagna (countryside) is showcased in each dish, creating connections to the local landscape through ingredients, presentation and local flavour profiles.
Paying homage to the historical surroundings, Wild Carrot effortlessly fuses countryside charm and simple but delicious cooking with a sophisticated dining experience. Enjoy a welcoming and elegant service in a timeless setting, guaranteed to make everyone feel at ease.
In the bar, Hampshire local James Edwards leads a team of international talent. Sample a range of classic cocktails and artisanal concoctions, inspired by the Hampshire countryside and the intriguing history of the Estate.
