It’s the eighth year of The Garden Show at Loseley Park in July 2019. The perfect event to find all you need to enhance your home, help your garden grow and give all the family a great day out.

The Show is in support of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, a heartfelt charity caring for families with a child or teenager with life-limiting conditions. They will be running a Shopping Crèche & Carry Service – so there is no need to be burdened down with all the purchases! There is also ‘The Giant Tombola’ with fabulous prizes generously donated by the garden show exhibitors and ‘Guess How Many Stars in the Jar’ with fabulous prizes to be won.

Apart from the extensive selection of retail companies at the Show there are many other attractions. The show will be joined by knowledgeable key speakers: on Friday Dr Ian Bedford, a research entomologist, will be explaining the best ways of ‘Gardening For Butterflies’ and be holding ‘The Pest Clinic’ afterwards. On Saturday we are joined by Professor Alan Aylward from The Woodland Trust who will be giving a talk on ‘Standing Up For Trees’ and then on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning Jules Simmons will be holding a chat on ‘Bats, Bugs, Ponds & Drought’ and will enthusiastically offer advice on keeping your garden happy and healthy. Ben Cross from Crosslands Nursery who will be extolling the ‘British Cut Flower Industry’

It’s not all about gardening. Music is provided by the Jazz Magic Trio and vintage songs by Lianna Haynes. The Studio Shop artisans will be demonstrating their skilled work in a variety of mediums. There will children’s entertainment with juggling, face painting, bouncy fun, toddler funfair and puppet shows and Huxley birds of prey will fly to the skies ….a great day out for the whole family.

It is an excellent time to relax and explore Loseley: the stunning parkland and the incredibly beautiful walled gardens, all included in the Garden Show ticket.  There will be a free guided walk in the Walled Gardens on Friday with Loseley’s head gardener explaining the work required to keep the gardens in good health and blooming. The garden show ticket has the added bonus of offering a special discounted entry to the free flow tours of the downstairs rooms of beautiful Loseley House.

The show is growing year on year as it travels along its own garden path, with the original concept holding true, to give visitors the opportunity to source an innovative range of items for the garden and house which are not easily found on the high street.
