Hatchlands Park Run – raising much needed funds for The Samson Centre for MS

If you wanted an alternative race to the Reigate Half Marathon on Sunday 15th September then the Hatchlands ,5,10 & 15k races were a great alternative. A Parkland run in a fantastic setting at Hatchlands Park National Trust the Historic National Trust Park. An ideal off road route saw runners take undulating tracks and some tarmac roads in a series of 5k laps completing either 5,10 or 15k. It was a perfect morning for a parkland run and the event saw some 100 runners complete the various course distances. Organised and run by the Guildford Lions Club – registered charity for supporting local community causes and this event was to raise much needed funds for the The Samson Centre for MSCentre in Guildford – supported and sponsored by Downs Solicitors, Fitstuff, VantagePoint Magazine

The Samson Centre for MS is located on the outskirts of Guildford and provides practical and emotional support for people living with multiple sclerosis in Surrey and surrounding areas. Some of our own team competed in the race, cheered on by the Guildford Lions mascot, with great support from all competitors. Well worth putting on your race calendar for 2020 !
