Following an excellent full English breakfast, courtesy of the home’s resident chef, the group were then treated to a fascinating talk by Sarah Lott from The Memory Book Company. As well as talking about and showing some of the bespoke Life Story Books she produces for her clients, Sarah also explained the importance of preserving individual memories and stories in printed form as a physical record of the social history of their time, as well as their role in the ever-increasing battle against dementia.
