A visit to Guild Foods Market

Take a new look at Guild Foods market in Guildford and you will find not only a totally refurbished local store, but a whole new shopping experience in the heart of Guildford. Transformed from a local Nisa store and petrol station to a Fresh look one stop shop for all your local grocery needs.

More than just a grocery store the team have transformed this site into a truly local shop – supporting local suppliers and producers to offer a range of products in an amazing space that is really delivering on an environmental front with its zero waste station.

The team is committed to developing a whole new shopping experience whether you are doing a full weeks shop and need reasonably priced products, to stocking a range of luxury items from local suppliers many within a 15 mile radius of the store. And not just groceries… Guild Foods Market offers award-winning cakes from their bakery (courtesy of 2016 Apprentice winner Alana Spencer, fresh meat from local butcher Rawlings of Cranleigh, and The Cellar where you can expect to find an array of fine wines as well as some spirits produced locally.

One of the most striking features of Guild Foods Market is the efforts put in to make this store a very sustainable place, with recycling on site and customers encouraged to bring re-usable cups for coffee, refreshments and other items. In fact, they have installed a state of the art dispensing unit at the front of the store, reminding customers to be more eco friendly in their shopping choices. Many of the products in the shop are made from sustainable packaging and it’s great to see these initiatives in action.

Indeed the owners of Guild Foods Market have been giving back to the local community for many years and supporting local charities like Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford Cricket Club and the Air Cadets with their Making a Difference Locally scheme, where profits for certain brands are allocated and passed on to support local causes.
