The weekend of 19th and 20th of October sees the return of the spectacular Autumn event at Tunsgate Quarter, High Street, Guildford; two days of live performances, entertainment and refreshments, free for the whole family to enjoy!
Leading the line-up this year, is Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Trip Hazard, who will be arriving in Guildford along with four of his canine friends to delight and entertain shoppers! Saturday’s programme will also include a wide range of musical talent including Godalming’s brilliant Community Gospel Choir, Guildford’s Performing Arts Academy and the popular ‘Farley’s’ band of brothers!
Tunsgate Quarter, Guildford’s newest shopping, leisure and dining destination, is once again lending its beautiful, lofty interior space to local aerial artist, Heidi Harris, who is returning to captivate visitors with a spectacular aerial acrobatics routine in the central atrium amongst the butterflies! Local talent from Guildford’s Theatre School and Academy of Contemporary Music will round off the afternoon in style.
There will be plenty on offer for younger visitors, who will enjoy the chance to try their hand at circus skills, and the popular children’s workshop, Creation Station, will be offering Autumn mask making and hedgehog decorating! Sweet treats will include a popcorn cart and candyfloss stall, and Tunsgate’s Nespresso store will be sampling some of their limited-edition flavours!
Claire Suggitt, Centre Manager at Tunsgate Quarter, said: “Following the success of last year, we can’t wait to celebrate the new season at Tunsgate Quarter with an amazing programme of entertainment for all ages. It is wonderful to be able to share the beautiful space we have to showcase the talents of so many within our community, and I look forward to welcoming our customers personally throughout the weekend.”
Tunsgate Quarter is home to top lifestyle and dining brands including The Ivy Castle View, OKA, Loaf, The White Company, Penhaligons, Nespresso, Seasalt and Pho. The centre will be beautifully dressed for the event by local florist, Secret Garden.
