What did you do today that made a difference?

SeeAbility are looking for extraordinary people.  We already have some working for us and we need more!  Come and join us for coffee and cake and meet the team at our open day on 8 February at the Millenium Centre in Leatherhead…

Here at SeeAbility we put the people we support at the heart of everything we do and we’re currently recruiting for enthusiastic Support Workers to join us at a number of our Surrey Services.

Many of our Support Workers use their creative skills every day, actively encouraging and helping people with learning disabilities, autism and visual impairment with art, cookery, music, gardening, keeping fit, football and even tandem cycling.

It’s thanks to the commitment and support of our extraordinary team that 20-year-old Reece – who just nine months ago was living in a secure hospital ward – is now flourishing in his new home, in his community and at Spit ‘n’ Sawdust, his local boxing club.

You can see Reece’s story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvIU3PnXsKA

If you’d like to join an organisation with strong values and a rich heritage (we’ve been around for 220 years) and have a career where you’ll have the chance to mentor and help individuals like Reece achieve their full potential in life then apply online at https://careers.seeability.org/

If you’ve worked as a Support Worker before, that’s fantastic but no experience is required as we hire based on your values as a person, we also offer a full training and induction programme – are you passionate, patient and do you want to make a difference in someone’s life each and every day?  You may want to change your career, be starting a career, getting back into the working environment or just looking at doing something extra.  If so then be the difference today!

Come and join us for coffee and cake and meet the team!

Where:  The Millenium Centre   5 Wesley Road, Leatherhead, KT22 8ET

When:   8th February between 10am and 12pm

Or alternatively, apply online at: https://careers.seeability.org/
