Award Winning Dementia Care Home in Camberley

Holly Lodge, a private care home in Frimley Green specialising in Dementia Care, was announced as a winner at the prestigious national Caring UK Awards.

Holly Lodge is delighted to have won the 2019 Excellence and Innovation in Dementia Care Award at the national Caring UK event hosted on Friday 15th November at the Athena in Leicester.

Judges described Holly Lodge as, “Heartwarming. Making residents and relatives smile is the daily goal at Holly Lodge. They are continuously striving to improve and it is clear that this luxury care home is designed with the service, views and needs of people living with dementia at its core.” These are the reasons why Holly Lodge won.

Holly Lodge is part of the Forest Care group, comprising of four private, luxury care homes based near Camberley and Basingstoke. The team was surrounded by employees from Forest Care when the announcement was made. Everyone roared with applause and was overjoyed with Holly Lodge’s success. Rico Bustamante, Care Home Manager at Holly Lodge, says “I feel incredibly proud of my team and all that they achieve. It’s not an easy job but they all show great dedication, commitment and patience to people living with dementia. Thank you to everyone who supported this nomination and to Caring UK for selecting us as winners. We feel truly honoured to hold this title”.

Alina Tesu, a nurse at Holly Lodge, said “I’m so proud to work with everyone at Holly Lodge and feel blessed that our genuine care for our residents and relatives has been externally recognised”.
